You can set the app as default file explorer.

Warning: This method involves modifying a system registry, please proceed at your own risk.

Instructions:

  1. Download this and extract it
  2. Run MyFilesXDefaultApply.reg
  3. Enjoy!
  4. Optional: Run MyFilesXDefaultUndo.reg in order to restore windows explorer as default file explorer
